How this site handles data and ads

What this site collects

Chinese Medicine Help does not require an account, and there is no login system. Browsing the herb, acupuncture point, food therapy, and guide pages does not involve submitting any personal information. The Constitution Quiz runs entirely in your browser — your answers and results are not sent to or stored on our servers.

If you email us through the address listed on the Contact page, we'll have whatever information you choose to include in that email. We don't add email addresses to a mailing list or share them with third parties.

Cookies and advertising

This site uses Google AdSense to display advertising, which helps keep every tool on this site free to use. Google and its advertising partners use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads based on your visits to this and other websites.

Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the internet. You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google's Ads Settings. Alternatively, you can opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalized advertising by visiting www.aboutads.info.

For more detail on how Google uses information from sites that use its services, see How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.

Analytics

We may use website analytics tools (such as Google Analytics) to understand general traffic patterns — for example, which pages are most visited. This data is aggregated and is not used to personally identify individual visitors.

Third-party links

Pages on this site sometimes link to external resources. We aren't responsible for the privacy practices of other websites, and we encourage you to review the privacy policy of any site you visit.

Children's privacy

This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights regarding how your data is collected and used by third-party advertisers — including the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information under laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), or the right to access and control your data under the EU's General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). The opt-out links above are the most direct way to exercise these rights regarding advertising specifically.

This page is provided for general information and isn't a substitute for legal advice — if you have specific concerns about data protection law as it applies to you, consider speaking with a qualified professional.

Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated from time to time as the site grows or as our use of third-party tools changes. The version shown here is always the current one.
